10/18/10 - 10/24/10 Press Release

10/18/10
  • MSPD took a report of a stolen camera from a residence.  The camera is described as an orange Nikon brand digital camera in a black zipper case.  The case is currently under investigation and if anyone has information contact MSPD.
  • On 10-18-10 the Mt. Shasta Police Department took a report of a theft of a wallet from a vehicle parked at 625 Carmen Dr.  The victim stated a government credit card that was in the wallet had been used to get cash advances from several area ATM’s. The case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information contact the Mt. Shasta Police Department.
10/19/10
  • MSPD took a report of a possible burglary at General Produce. Sometime between 0030 hours and 0230 hours a screen was removed from an open bathroom window. It was unsure if anything had been taken. Anyone with information contact the Mt. Shasta Police Department.
10/20/10
  • On 10-20-10 the Mt. Shasta Police Department took a report of a burglary that occurred at Mike and Tony’s Restaurant. It was reported sometime the previous night someone pried open the side door of the business and then broke into the liquor storage room. Approximately 60 bottles of high end liquor was taken from the storage area. Also taken was a Makita drill/driver. Anyone with information contact the Mt. Shasta Police Department.

  • Felice Pace of Klamath, CA came into MSPD to report that his Suburu Outback had been struck by a hit and run driver while parked at Shastice Park.  A witness provided a description of the hit and run vehicle, a tan colored Honda with chrome rims. The witness also was able to get a partial license plate number.   MSPD filed a hit and run traffic accident report.  Anyone with information please contact MSPD.
10/24/10
  • MSPD took a report of a theft from a vehicle. It was reported several items were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 400 block of S. Mt. Shasta Blvd. Taken from the vehicle was a tan tackle box with a green handle full of tackle, a black Camelback backpack, a black single shot BB gun, and a Gerber brand folding pocket knife. Anyone with information contact the Mt. Shasta Police Department.
  •  MSPD responded to Lai Lai restaurant for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival it was found that someone had forced entry into the building. There was nothing reported as missing at the time of the event however, further investigation is required.
