- On 3-18-11 the Mt. Shasta Police Department took a report of a hit and run collision in the Sports and Spirits parking lot. No injuries were reported and the case is currently being investigated.

- On 04/11/11, 38-year-old Aleksander Balos, of Mt. Shasta, reported that someone had opened a bank account using his social security number and the account was overdrawn. A case was taken for identity theft.

- On 04/12/2011, the department took a report of a burglary at 115 Ida St. A wood-grain, .410 caliber Mossberg, pump-action shotgun was reported stolen from the residence, during an unknown time period. The suspect(s) made entry through an unlocked second story window.
