  • Theft of orange Nikon digital camera.  Case taken.  Contact MSPD with any information.
  • Theft from vehicle occurred.  Wallet stolen and bank card used at local ATMs.  Case taken.  Contact MSPD with any information.
  • Arrested subject for drunk in public

  • Burglary occured at General Produce. Case taken.  Contact MSPD with any information.
  • Items stolen (seat, basket, seat pad) from bicycle locked up at shopping center.  Contact MSPD with any information.

  • Burglary occurred at Mike & Tony's.  Several bottles of alcohol stolen.  Case taken.  Contact MSPD with any information.

  • Report of party on Carmen, residents contacted to take it inside and keep noise down.
  • Domestic disturbance occurred on Marjorie Ct.  Subjects advised of harrassment/stalking laws and given TRO information.
  • Abandoned vehicle towed on Chestnut/Ivy

  • Report of camping between Ace Hardware and Snip. Subject moved along.

  • Theft from vehicle occurred on S Mt Shasta Blvd.  Tackle box, backpack, BB gun and Gerber knife stolen.  Case taken.  Contact MSPD with any information.
  • Burglary attempted at Hearts of Mt Shasta.  Unsuccessful.
  • Burglary occurred at Lai Lai's.  Case taken.  Contact MSPD with any information.

  • Vendor not part of the Farmers Market was advised he needed a business license to sell musical instruments.  Vendor moved along.
10/13/10
  • Juveniles were counseled about throwing rocks at passing vehicles near the Scout Hall. 
10/14/10
  • Lost blue nylon wallet between Ace Hardward and Sisson.  Please contact MSPD if found.
10/15/10
  • Several juveniles reported to be on the roof of Sisson.  One counseled.
  • Party reported on Marjorie Ct and several cars speeding through area.  Resident contacted and advised to keep it down.
  • Female was bitten by dog while jogging near Perry/Washington.  Dog quarantined.  Victim refused treatment.
  • A mountain lion was reported in the area near the old radio station, Alma/Rockfellow
  • Warning for illegal camping near shopping center.
10/16/10
  • Several calls for trespassing at the un-opened skate park occurred.  All juveniles warned and left property.

10/11/10
  •  MSPD took a report of a minor traffic collision that occurred in the Sports & Spirits parking lot.  No injuries were reported and both involved parties exchanged information.
10/13/10
  • At approximately 2:00am a night time delivery driver interrupted a burglary occurring at the General Produce warehouse on Ream Ave.  Two male juveniles fled the scene on older full size bicycles.  One of the bicycles had a wire basket on the front.  Anyone with information please contact MSPD.
10/17/10
  • Officers located an intoxicated male, Robert Neyman, on Carmen Avenue.  Neyman was arrested for being drunk in public.

10/4/10 - 10/10/10 Press Release

10/4/2010
  • MSPD arrested Stephen Geovany Rodas, age 23 of Mt Shasta, in obedience to a warrant out of Butte County.  Rodas was cited and released with a Butte County court date.
10/6/2010
  • MSPD arrested Melissa Pearl Berry, age 39 of Mt Shasta, when she attempted to fill a prescription which had been altered.  Berry was transported to the Siskiyou County Jail where she was booked.
10/7/2010
  • Officers located an intoxicated male, Johnathan Garza, in the Kentucky Fried Chicken parking lot.  Garza was arrested for an outstanding warrant and be being drunk in public.
  • MSPD responded to the area behind Black Bear Diner where a group of males were yelling at customers.  Three males were contacted and asked to leave.  One of the males, Troy Donahue, 55, refused to comply and also was under the influence of alcohol.  Donahue was taken into custody for public intoxication and resisting, delaying or obstructing, and booked into the county jail.
10/9/2010
  • MSPD took a report of a hit and run.  It was determined after a short investigation that a vehicle driven by Loreto Reyes, from Mt Shasta, collided with a vehicle driven by Marlena Daily, from Mt Shasta.  Reyes left the scene without giving the proper information.  Reyes will be given a later court date.
10/10/2010
  • MSPD responded to a report of vandalism.  A vehicle owned by Melanie Nova, of Mt Shasta, had all four tires slashed.  It appears that the slashes were made from a knife.  The vehicle was parked at the Shasta View Apartments on Hinckley St. Anyone with information regarding this incident please contact MSPD.

9/27/10 - 10/3/10 Press Release

9/27/2010
  • MSPD investigated a contributing to the delinquency of a person under the age of 18.  It was determined that John Larson, age 25 of Mt Shasta, contributed to a person under the age of 18.  Larson was cited and released.

9/28/2010
  • MSPD arrested Gerald Ragner Holmquist, age 84, of Mt Shasta for driving under the influences of alcohol.  Holmquist was transported to the Siskiyou County Jail where he was booked.
9/29/2010
  • The department responded to the area of the RR-Xing near High St to a report of someone moaning near the railroad tracks.  19 year old Danial Henson, of Mt Shasta, was located in the bushes trying to walk away.  After a short investigation, Henson was arrested for public intoxication and booked into county jail.

10/1/2010
  • MSPD was the the High School during homecoming.  Officers observed a male having a difficult time walking, running into a door post.  The male juvenile was contacted and determined to be under the influence.  The juvenile was arrested, cited and released to his parents.
  • MSPD took a report of a hit and run traffic collision that occurred in front of the Forest Service building on Alma St.  An unknown woman, described as being in her late 40's or early 50's with blond hair and driving a new silver and gold Isuzu Trooper, backed into a vehicle causing minor damage to the bumper and hood of the vehicle.  Anyone with information contact the MSPD

10/2/2010
  • MSPD made a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Heather Driml, of Mt Shasta.  It was determined that Heather did not have a valid driver's license.  Heather was cited for driving unlicensed and released.

10/3/2010
  • MSPD made a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Christian Rowland of Mt Shasta.  It was determined that Rowland was driving the vehicle on a suspended license.  Rowland was arrested for driving on a suspended license and violation of probation.  Rowland was later cited and released.
  • MSPD was dispatched to the 600 block of Pine St for a disturbance.  Officers contacted Garret Lovelace, 33 of Mt Shasta, who was extremely intoxicated and yelling.  Lovelace was taken into custody and booked into the county jail.
